It's the 21st century, paper is dead. Hyster deisel forklift 120 repair manual. (I say that having only had my CD Rom a short time.) I like my CD ROM because I can have my lap top w/Vag Com atached to the car and ave my manual right htere on screen. If I ever decide that I need to data log, I can do that too.
(even though at present, I dont know how lol) I can also have my 'other' VW 'diagram' up for reference as well. And if that's not enough, I can watch a movie or listen to music while I work on my car. (What movies have had VW's ini them, aside from Herbie?) And if THAT's not enough, I can also have my 747 Manuals up, just to show off. You know, if I buy one o those small Canon portable printers I could have both.hmmmm But yeah, get SOME format of Bentley. If I buy one o those small Canon portable printers I could have both.

I see that you've never printed out any pages from the CD Bentley. A super-fast Laser printer may be adequate, but unless you have a free supply of paper and ink (toner), it would be far cheaper to find a used copy of the paper Bentley. When I first started hanging around some of the bozos around here (and I fully count myself as a member of the Bozo fraternity), I asked which they prefer. Most of them said that they have both the paper and the CD versions. And I thought they were crazy. Well, guess what? Now I have both as well.
(bought used. I was able to obtain the uninstall codes from the vendor of the CD - I believe now Bentley charges for re-activation by a 2nd owner). As MCA said, very handy to have both. All the best, Yuri.
