The 2JZ-GTE was Toyota's top of the range motor in the early 1990s, powering the Toyota Supra RZ and sporting twin turbochargers for added 'oomph.'

Finally, the 2JZ-FSE engine, married with an automatic transmission, was the driving force for the Progress and Crown Majesta. The 2JZ engine series represent the excellence of Toyota craftsmanship; however, even the best motors fail from time to time.
