A $90 lab book that is meant to be written in? Are you kidding me? I didn't write in it and I will be selling it in near perfect condition.

The labs themselves do contain some background info before doing the various lab experiments, however, when we were doing the labs I often used to wonder how it related to the many chemistry topics we were studying. I wish the lab book would have done a more consistent job of relating the experiments to what we were doing in the textbook written by a different author. There was so much to do in the labs (even though I dutifully did every question/problem that was possible before we met for the lab) that there wasn't any time between the experiments to do anything except do the next experiment and write all the data down and perform necessary calculations. In fairness I was in a hybrid class that only met for the labs. We were to learn the material from the textbook and from Learn Smart by Pearson online-which I did! With limited class meetings, the labs did not necessarily match up with where I was in the text.
